Features essays by Dr. Abraham Kampf, Rabbi Raphael Posner along with statements by Orthodox, Conservative and Reform rabbis on the architecture of the synagogue and statements of the architects as well. Includes numerous black and white images and illustrations of synagogues in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and Michigan. A near fine copy in paper covered boards with printed labels affixed to the spine and front panel with some minor wear. No dust jacket as issued.
