New York: Pynson Printers, 1931. First edition. Hardcover. The highlight of this issue is an original limited edition print by David Milne titled "Hilltop." It is a drypoint print done in two colors. The print measures 6.75" x 5" and is in fine condition. It is pencil signed by Milne in the lower margin. Also includes these articles: "Post Bellum - Pre Harlem" by Charles W. Chesnutt and several beautiful designs by Charles E. Bracker, "The Way to Wealth for Indigent Bookmen" by Pierce Butler, "The Early Adventures of 'Sister Carrie'" by Theodore Dreiser, "A Note on Collecting Prospectuses" by Paul Johnston, and a great article done by the Lakeside Press in Chicago titled "The Work in Book Illustration of Rudolph Ruzicka" written by William Kittredge and includes several illustrations of Ruzicka's work. A near fine copy with some very slight soiling to the boards and with some laid in ephemera. A great copy of this uncommon issue.
