Ilfracombe: Arthur H. Stockwell, Ltd., 1950. First edition. Softcover. Silkin's first book, a slim book of poems. A close to near fine copy in stapled wrappers with some very faint foxing to the page edges and some other tiny wear. Signed and inscribed by Silkin on the verso of the front cover to poet Leonard Clark above Clark's bookplate. Silkin has also added in pen 1951 on the title page. A nice association copy that appears to not be unique as there are two other copies similiarly inscribed for sale.
