New York: The Viking Press, 1965. First edition. Oblong hardcover. First printing. The first book to collect fifty of Levitt's classic black and white street photographs. Includes Agee's terrific posthumous essay. A close to near fine copy with some slight sunning to the edges of the boards in a very good dust jacket with several small tears and minor wear and some shallow chipping to the top of the spine. Still, a very nice copy of what is widely considered one of the best photo books of the 20th century. (Parr & Badger, v1 252-253: Roth 178-179).
