New York: Random House, 1965. First edition. Hardcover. First printing. A well received book from this Chicago based historian who was a professor at the The University of Chicago and who went on to be Librarian of the United States Congress. A clean and tight near fine copy an about very good dust jacket with some sunning to the spine and front panel and some other minor wear as well. Signed and inscribed by Boorstin on the front free endpaper: "For Lois and Wayne Wille from Daniel J. Boorstin Chicago Oct 21, 1965." A nice copy as one of the recipients, Lois Wille, was a two time Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author. Uncommon signed.
