Volume 1 has 16 color plates by Peter Scott and 33 distribution maps. Volume 2 has 24 color plates and 29 distribution maps. Volume 3 has 24 color plates and 46 distribution maps. Volume 4 has 6 plates in color and text contributions by Hildegarde Howard, Milton W. Weller, Philip S. Humphrey, and George A. Clark, Jr. All four volumes in clean very near fine condition and in an about very good illustrated slipcase that has some fraying and other minor wear. No dust jackets as issued. Signed by Delacour in each volume on the half title pages. Uncommon thus.
