An examination of this important group of artists whose work was demonized and in some cases destroyed by the Nazis. Includes numerous color and black and white illustrations after works by Max Beckmann, Marc Chagall, Otto Dix, George Grosz, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Oskar Koskoschka, Wilhelm Lehmbruck and numerous others. A near fine copy in French style wrappers with some slight sunning to the spine and front panel and with some laid in vintage newspaper clippings and gallery booklet. A powerful book.
