Includes 126 plates with many of the best images from the early portion of Callahan's career and some of the iconic photographs of his wife Eleanor. Also includes a bibliography by Bernard Karpel. A clean and tight near fine copy in black cloth boards with some of the usual toning to the endpapers from the publisher's poor choice of glue in a very near fine black cloth slipcase. No dust jacket as issued. A nicer than usual copy of what remains one of the best monographs on Callahan. (Roth 168-169) This is a heavy and oversized book and will require extra shipping.
