The classic first book from this important American composer. Includes numerous black and white images as well as some scores. A tight near fine copy in cloth boards with some slight foxing and in a near fine dust jacket with a few small edge tears and tiny chips and with some light foxing as well. Still, a very nice copy of the uncommon first issue.
