Published in conjunction with a traveling exhibition that ran December 2, 1990 through February 3, 1991 in Washington, D.C. and then on to six other locations for additional dates. Features text by Sarah Greenough and an afterword by Michael E. Hoffman. Includes over 140 black and white images, many of which are some Strand's best known works along with a chronology, and a checklist. A clean and tight near fine copy in black cloth boards and in a very good plus dust jacket with some light wear and a small chip to the base of the front panel near the spine. A nice copy of what is still one of the best monographs on Strand.
