Features text by Robert, Chuck Close, Kirk Varnedoe, Deborah Wye. Includes 113 color plates and 75 black and white illustrations, an illustrated chronology compiled by Fereshteh Daftari, bibliography, and a list of previous exhibitions. A tight near fine copy in black cloth boards with some extremely faint foxing and in a near fine dust jacket and a near fine cloth covered slipcase. Signed and very warmly inscribed by Close on the half title page. A terrific copy as the recipient worked at Museum of Modern Art and assisted with the production of this book.
