Gaddis went on to win the National Book Award for his second novel "Jr" and also for "A Frolic of His Own." A very good copy in black cloth boards with some light wear and some fraying to the bottom edge of the rear board and in a very good dust jacket with some chips from the spine ends, some other smaller chips and light soiling and other wear. Still, a solid copy of this somewhat uncommon and important debut work.
