Avedon traveled extensively taking a portable studio with him to and photograph his subjects in front of a white background which' resulted in stark and striped down images. Features background text by Laura Wilson. A very near fine copy in cloth boards with black and white plates affixed to the front and rear covers and in a near fine acetate dust jacket with a slight crimp to the top of the spine. A lovely copy. (Parr & Badger v2, p38).
