Zurich: Scalo, 1997. First edition thus. Folio sized hardcover. Facsimile of the classic 1983 Aperture book. Features an essay by Gholam-Hossein Sa'edi. A powerful group of black and white photographs taken in Iran during the time of the U.S. hostage crisis paired with his communications (telexes) between himself and the Magnum offices in Paris and New York. A clean very near fine copy in photo illustrated boards. The first edition is a fragile book that because of the size and binding often falls apart which makes this edition a very good alternative.
