The Congress was a gathering of Catholics with multiple ceremonies and masses over several days. One mass at the nearly completed Soldiers Field had hundreds of thousands of people. The mass at the end was held in Mundelein and reports say that almost a million people were in attendance. Includes a great fold out map of Chicago's streets, parks, and train systems including the elevated. A fair copy with extensive tape repairs to the spine and page block holding it into the wrappers which are darkened and have chips to the corners. A very scarce item in any condition.
